Rick Danko's Yartzeit
Remembering Rick Danko today, his Yartzeit (December 10th). Bass player extraordinaire, Southern Gentleman par excellence, and one of the founding members of The Band. We'll be playing some of his music and thanking him for the gifts he brought into this world.
Mazel Tov
L'Chaim to us for successfully broadcasting our first LIVE Talk and Music Show Wednesday night December 9th - after bravely circumventing all sorts of technical configuration challenges, we managed to get two sets of headphones and a master microphone wired to the mixer and into the computer and voila - there we were, announcing upcoming events (Raz Hartman and Shaul Judelman at Beit HaMayim on Thursday December 10th, etc.) and spinning tunes for our listeners, with the occasional reading of a Facebook entry or a shout-out to friends. Thanks for bearing with us during our Science Project phase - and look forward to much more great original programming to come. Bottoms up, Jack Daniels!
