Praying for Rain

Today in Israel we're fasting and praying for RAIN - the blessing and the bounty of HaShem, Who gives His Holy Land rain in direct proportion to the love and devotion showed to Him by His People, the Jews. It has nothing to do with global warming, weather patterns, rising seas or diminishing ozone layers here - yes, in the rest of the world it DOES, but in Israel - the Land that HaShem Himself has His eyes on from the beginning of the year until the end - we're completely dependent upon His grace and mercy for precipitation, as we recite twice a day in the after-blessings of the Shema prayer. So to help the process along, we'll be playing all RAIN SONGS this morning on Radio Free Nachlaot, sending wet and wild vibes out into the universe, with the intentionality of attracting both the moisture AND the mercy we so desperately need ... Stay Tuned for today's schedule by late morning / early afternoon ....
