Taking Your Pulse and Giving You TLC

Radio Free Nachlaot is taking your PULSE today ... hello? Hello? Is there anybody in there? Gevaldt, what an emotional roller-coaster ride we've had here in Eretz Yisrael the last few days - from the sweetness of Shabbos to the sorrow and solemnity of Yom HaZicharon, when we as a Nation remember all who have fallen on our behalf, both in our Armed Forces and by Terrorism. Immediately followed by Yom Ha'azmaout, Israeli Independence Day, when all the suppressed sorrow breaks into joyous rollicking rejoicing and manifests in parades, parties, BBQ, and the famous International Bible Quiz on Israeli TV - and we'd like to say a hearty Kol HaKavod and Mazel Tov to Or Ashual, a 17-year-old student at the Kfar Saba Amana girls' school who kicked butt and won the contest this year!
So - how do you follow that? With lots of TLC - that's what we're all about here on Radio Free Nachlaot. We'll help you nurse your hangover or enable your post-Chag determination to get back to "business as usual," at least until the next holiday - Pesach Sheni next week, followed shortly after that by Lag B'Omer, as we continue to COUNT THE OMER and keep on our path climbing step by step towards Har Sinai and Shavous.

Today's Torah Schedule:

Oh, tidings of comfort and joy indeed - we're staying alive and so are you, b'ezrat HaShem, one day at a time... "Check my pulse, it don't change / stays 72 come shine or rain / give me five, I'm still alive / ain't no luck, I learned to duck!" Keep on truckin' with us here at Radio Free Nachlaot ... and while we're at it, Happy Birthday Queen Elizabeth of England - "Her Majesty's a pretty nice girl but she doesn't have a lot to say..." Hope Liz enjoys Pink Floyd tonight!
