Head in the Clouds, Feet in the Sand

We're at The Beach - Long Beach, California, Lorelai's former home town turf & surf ... but our heart is always connected to Jerusalem. Halfway around the World but closer than a heartbeat away.

What a week to be gone - Ezra & Carly's wedding, Shaul & Shayna's wedding, and a Sheva Brachos week to end all weeks - at least Radio Free Nachlaot will be well-represented at all the festivities in the person of Steve Levine, but - Gevaldt! I'll be there in Spirit, and I'm sure I'll see all the pictures on Facebook within hours.

What's on board while Lorelai is driving the bus? Trouble ahead, lady in red - take my advice, you'd be better off dead! (The Grateful Dead really knew how to personify the Yetzer HaRa, didn't they?)

All Times are JERUSALEM TIMES, baby!

  • 10:15pm - Ella Fitzgerald & Joe Pass "Speak Love"
  • 11pm - The Grateful Dead, Bonner Springs Kansas June 24th & 25th 1991.

Steve will be resuming broadcasting somewhere around 6pm-ish Monday so stay tuned for what comes next .... and BY THE WAY I conducted an A/B Science Project to determine if listening to the Radio Free Nachlaot stream on  iTunes Radio really DOES sound better than VLC Media Player and, guess what - it does! Have you tried it? Radio Free Nachlaot is featured in the "International/World" Category in iTunes Radio. Try listening that way and let us know what you think! Email us at: radiofreenachlaot@gmail.com - we DO read our email!
