Transitions

What happens when the Soul leaves the Body? What WILL happen when the Soul is reunited with the Body? The second blessing of the Amidah (Shmona Esri) says about HaShem, Creator of Heaven and Earth: "He sustains the living with kindness, revives the dead with abundant mercy, supports the fallen, heals the sick, releases the confined, and maintains His faith to those asleep in the dust. Who is like You, O Master of mighty deeds, and who is comparable to You, O King Who causes death and restores life and makes salvation sprout? You are faithful to revive the dead! Blessed are You, HaShem, Who revives the dead."

Baruch Dayan HaEmes - Blessed is the Righteous Judge - Shaul Avroham Elizer ben Kuna - Seth Levine - has left This World and is on his way to The Next World. Steve Levine & all the Levines far and wide are gathering in New Jersey to say farewell.  In honor of this tremendous transition and in support of Steve we're playing a lot of special music and programming. Stay tuned for more details.

This afternoon's "Israeli Soul" programming (between 1pm - 6pm Israel Time) features Jon Samuel Nelson, Laura Liebe Schulman, Nomi Teplow and Meirah Myriam beit Dovid.

At 6pm we'll play Rena Richman's latest "Bat Melech" Series - "Reflecting Back" and at 6:30pm we'll hear the McCoy Tyner Trio & Michael Brecker's "Infinity."

Our LIVE broadcast of Reb Ozer Bergman's regular Thursday Night Rebbe Nachman Shiur will begin at 8pm, Israel Time. Tonight's Shiur is sponsored by our friend Naomi in honor of her Grandson, Chanania Chaim Tzvi ben Gavriel Eliyahu HaLevi Z"TL (zecher tzadik L'vracha) who is putting on Tefillin for the first time this weekend prior to his Bar Mitzvah. Mazel Tov! Mazel Tov!

Transitions, transitions - a seed becomes a boy, a boy becomes a man, a man becomes a spirit, a spirit becomes flesh - there's no end to it, because LIFE IS ETERNAL AND THERE'S NO END TO IT, we just change "file formats" so to speak - the hard part is for the living who can't access the new "file format" of those who depart the flesh - but as the Amidah says: HaShem is faithful to revive the dead, and we KNOW He is faithful to sustain the living with kindness - we place our hope right there, and we do what we can do, whatever is given to us - thank G-d!
