Comfort music ... that's what the doctor ordered, and that's what Steve and Lorelai delivered during their "Sunday Night Live" Show, with special guest Shaul Judelman. Everyone agreed that acoustic guitar music has an especially soothing effect, and just to prove it, Steve played The Allman Brothers "Tied to the Whipping Post." Oh well. At least we all felt better after that.
So why the picture of John and Yoko? Because comfort is more than one's physical surroundings of mind, it's about being surrounded by the embrace of total acceptance - as so poignantly illustrated by John Lennon's embrace of his wife Yoko Ono. How many of us get that kind of enveloping welcome in this lifetime? Radio Free Nachlaot is here to give you a taste of what it's like to be welcome in this world. We're playing your comfort music by request into the wee small hours of the morning, when we'll be back to business as usual with Lorelai's "Morning Dew for the Morning Jew" Show. Until then lay back, close your eyes and listen to The Grateful Dead at Boston Music Hall (1976) and other comforting musical offerings as the night turns from deep darkness into morning once again...
