The day between what? you say? - The Day between 2 major simchas here in Jerusalem, of course!
Yesterday we danced in the forest with Ezra and Carly - Mazel Tov, Mazel Tov, and now we prepare to dance in a different forest with Shaul and Shayna -- Mazel Tov, Mazel Tov -- what joyous times!
And even if you might say that we are living in sobering times - isolated times - periolous times -remember, it's really only in the way that we see the world -- which eyes are we using?
Remember it's Tamuz -- how are we seeing ? I pray that we aren't seeing like the spies, not like Korach -- but that we are blessed to see that there is simcha during all times because we are connecting to holiness - and through simcha we can bring the "shefa" - G-d's Glorious Goodness down.
...and what's the key? (i thought you'd never ask) -- MUSIC! of course -- ok, Torah, Tefilah, Tzedaka, Gemilas Chasadim, and numerous other acts that reflect Hashem's presence in the world, but - what is the key? Music is the Key -- we sing, we dance, we hear the music in the wind - it's the sound of simcha, and we are (or, in my humble opinion, should be, at least) all singing!
