Happy Birthday, Yom Huledet Sameach from Jerusalem to Greenwich Village (haven't we always SAID that "Nachlaot is to Jerusalem what Greenwich Village is to New York"?)
Lorelai and Amy met when they were new High School graduates just barely cusping at 18 years old, together IN JERUSALEM for a post HS program living with Israeli families and learning Hebrew (HA, you see how well THAT worked in Lorelai's case: NOT~!). They instantly bonded because of their common love for (amongst other things) the Grateful Dead, Diet Coke, Sweet n'Low, astrology, and escaping from authority figures.
Several decades and lifetimes later, still Best Friends and now - from Jerusalem where it all began - we're featuring a special Amy Wachtel Birthday Show with music that reminds us of Amy, with love! Yom Huledet Sameach, Amy JOY! Starting at 5pm Jerusalem time ...
